Coriander seeds whole - Glass shaker

A key characteristic of coriander is that all parts of the plant are edible. However, the (dried) leaves or the (ground) seeds are usually eaten. Note that the flavors of both are not identical. Ground coriander is also known as coriander seeds. The seeds are also an ingredient in Indian curries.
