Ingredients (for 4 people): 500g chicken (thigh) fillet, or 1 kg drumsticks/chicken legs or a whole chicken, approx. 1½ tbsp (15 g) Verstegen mix for chicken (thigh) fillet or approx. 3 tbsp (30 g) Verstegen mix for drumsticks/chicken legs or a whole chicken, 2 tbsp (olive) oil. Preparation: rub the chicken of your choice with the Verstegen mix and let it soak in for a while. Heat a frying pan with the (olive) oil and fry the chicken over medium heat for approx. 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Chicken with bone is best cooked in the oven at 180°C. A whole chicken is cooked through in approx. 50-70 minutes. Chicken legs are cooked through in the oven in approx. 30-45 minutes. Serving suggestion: serve the spicy, fried chicken in a wrap with avocado, corn, bell pepper, tomato and a fresh crème fraîche dip.
