Sumac (ground) - Bag

Sumac is the red berries of the sumac plant. It's a popular spice in the Middle East. The berries have a tart, fresh flavor similar to lemon, but more aromatic. Its refreshing lemony flavor makes it a perfect addition to many dishes. Try it with (grilled) meat, fish, chicken, or in a salad. Add thyme and sesame seeds to sumac to create za'atar.
