Bruschetta with mozzarella and basil
An Italian tapas snack, bruschetta with mozzarella and basil.
Mozzarella and basil bruschetta. This spicy tomato, mozzarella, and basil toast is easy to make for a drink or party dish.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Cut eight diagonal slices of baguette. Place the slices on a baking sheet, baguette-side down. Mix the World Spice Meal - Pasta Bolognese with the olive oil and drizzle the baguette slices with it. Toast the bread briefly (about 5 minutes) in the oven.
Meanwhile, slice the tomatoes and cut the mozzarella into eighths. Pick the basil leaves.
Divide the mozzarella and tomato among the baguette slices. Bake for another 3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Garnish with basil leaves.
