Cinnamon pear ginger beer mocktail

The homemade sugar syrup with cinnamon and star anise gives this cocktail a heartwarming effect. Combined with the pear, ginger beer, and Crystal Clear, it creates the ultimate flavor combination. A fresh, vibrant, and aromatic mocktail!
Preparation
Combine the granulated sugar, water, 1/5 of the cinnamon stick, and 1/5 of the star anise in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the sugar slowly dissolves in the water and a syrup forms.
Meanwhile, peel and halve the pear lengthwise. Cut each half into four equal wedges lengthwise and add to the syrup. Simmer for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat and let cool. Remove the pear, cinnamon stick, and star anise from the syrup.
Divide the ice cubes among the glasses and pour 1 tablespoon of the syrup into each glass. Divide the ginger beer and Crystal Clear among the glasses.
Garnish each glass with the remaining cinnamon stick, the remaining star anise and the pear slices.
