Crispy cookies with nutmeg
Cookies with the warm taste of nutmeg.
A warm spice like nutmeg is perfect in a delicious cookie. So make these deliciously crunchy cookies as a snack, perhaps with tea! This recipe makes 40 cookies.
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Beat an egg with a fork in a separate bowl. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, salt, and sugar until smooth. Then add half of the beaten egg and fold it into the creamy batter.
Sift the flour into the mixing bowl. Grate the nutmeg, remove the seeds from the vanilla pod, and add them to the batter. Blend, using a mixer if necessary, until smooth.
Unfold the piping bag by folding it over the edge of a measuring cup. Spoon the batter into the piping bag. Pipe the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper into desired shapes, such as a circle. Make sure the shapes are the same size. Leave at least 2 cm of space between the cookies, as the batter will spread during baking.
Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Let them cool on a wire rack.
