Chili con carne with avocado and crème fraîche
A nutritious meal with beans, peppers and avocado.
Chili con carne literally means chili with meat. A popular Tex-Mex dish that originated in Texas. Filled with black beans, bell peppers, and ground meat, and topped with avocado and crème fraîche, this is a delicious and nutritious meal.
Preparation
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Halve the bell peppers, remove the seeds, and dice them. Halve the avocados, remove the pits and peel, and slice. Cut the lime into wedges. Drain the corn and beans.
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the ground beef and brown. Add the World Spice Meal - Chili Con Carne, bell peppers, corn, black beans, passata, black pepper, and sea salt. Simmer for 20 minutes over medium heat.
In the meantime, prepare the rice according to the instructions on the package.
Serve the chili con carne with the rice, crème fraîche, lime wedges, avocado, parsley and the papadums.
