Omelet with vegetarian bacon and brie
A well-filled French omelette with a filling of creamy brie, mushrooms and crunchy walnuts.
Omelets are a perfect lunch dish. They're ready in no time and offer plenty of variety. This French version with creamy brie, salty vegetarian bacon, and crunchy walnuts is truly irresistible!
Preparation
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic clove. Slice the mushrooms and brie. Coarsely chop the chives and walnuts.
Beat the eggs with the milk, black pepper, sea salt and the World Spice Meal - Omelet.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes. Then add the leek and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove the vegetables from the pan, add 1 tablespoon of oil, and cook the vegetarian bacon for 5 minutes. Remove from the pan.
Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan and add ¼ of the egg mixture. Cook for 2 minutes, or until golden brown on the bottom. Spread ¼ of the vegetables, bacon, and brie over the omelet and close the lid. Cook for another 2 minutes with the lid on the pan. Repeat this 3 more times with the remaining ingredients to make 4 French omelets.
Finish the omelet with the chives and walnuts.

- 300 g kastanjechampignons
- 200 g brie
- 5 g verse bieslook
- 75 g walnoten
- 8 eieren
- 200 ml volle melk
- ½ tl Zwarte peper
- 1 tl Zeezout
- 2 el World Spice Meal - Omelet
- 5 el zonnebloemolie
- 100 g fijngesneden prei
- 125 g vegetarische spekjes
