Oatmeal porridge with chai spices
This quick oatmeal is not only super healthy, but also delicious. It's quick to make, and the World Spice Blend - Chai adds just that special kick!
Start your day right with a nutritious breakfast: make this super healthy and easy chai spiced oatmeal! The chai spice mix contains cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, and star anise. A deliciously spicy blend, but with the addition of apple and cacao nibs, it also has a slightly sweet flavor.
Preparation
Heat a pan over medium heat with the vegan oat milk for 5 minutes until just below boiling point.
Mix the oatmeal with Cardamom (ground), Anise seed (ground), Cinnamon (ground), Ginger (ground).
Then pour in the oat milk and mix well. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then divide it among the bowls.
Halve the apple and remove the core. Cut the apple into 5 mm thick slices.
Garnish the oatmeal with the apple and cacao nibs. Sprinkle with the remaining ground cinnamon using a sieve.

- 700 ml vegan havermelk
- 200 g volkoren havermout
- 1 tl Verstegen Kardemon (gemalen)
- 1 tl Verstegen Anijszaad (gemalen)
- 2 tl Verstegen Kaneel (gemalen)
- ½ tl Verstegen Gember (gemalen)
- 1 appel
- 20 g cacaonibs
